Healthcare provider Instructor training with the trainee being certified for two years in accordance with the American Heart

Association’s guidelines.

Following is a description of the proposed course content, duration, required

tools, and costs.

Course Content:

There are 3 steps to becoming a CPR instructor,

1. Essentials online course is 41.20 at elearning.heart.org .BLS Instructor Essentials Online | AHA

2. 8 hour class room training ( we do not teach the skill here, only how to teach the class).

3. the instructor Candidate must successfully teach a course, monitored at our training center for us within 6 months of the class room portion of this course.

Cost is 310.00 per Instructor Candidate

Required:

Essentials online course completion certificate.

The instructor manual is not included in the price of the class. Please order the instructor manual from world point

BLS Instructor Package with Course Videos on USB manual only #20-1103 you must have this for the 8 hour course.

Current American Heart Association BLS HCP CPR Card.

You must be aligned with an AHA training center. Chicago's Pulse aligns individual instructors. There is an annual Affiliation fee of 100.00 to stay aligned.

The class starts promptly at assigned time. Please be sure to arrive 10 minutes early, there will be no admittance after the class begins.

If you arrive late to class and are not admitted, there will be a 50.00 administrative fee to reschedule for a different class time.

Please bring any outstanding rosters, 4 classes taught are required for renewal.

Please bring your feedback devices to use in the renewal course.

Refund Policy:

You may cancel your class 8 or more days prior to the course for a full refund, minus a processing fee. There are no refunds for any cancellations within 7 days of the course.

You may reschedule your course within 48 hours of the date and are subject to a 25.00 administrative charge.

You may change the course date one time only.

Any student who does not attend their scheduled class or arrives after the class begins without prior communication will forfeit their class fees..

On-Site Training

We tailor all of our courses to meet specific client needs for cost-effective, closed-company courses.  The location, schedules, and content are completely flexible to help each individual client tackle the often difficult logistical process of arranging training for larger clients and their staff. Customized on-site training is available with a required 10-person minimum.

All on-site training is specifically tailored to each business. Additional information is available upon request.

Essential's course must be done prior to taking the initial Instructor course.

A copy of your current AHA HCP CPR Card must be emailed prior to the 8 hour class.

Terms & Refund Policy

More than seven (7) days prior to the first day of class, students may:

1. Reschedule to a different class date (one time only) up to three months of the original class date or;

2. Cancel their class and receive a full refund, minus a processing fee.

Within seven (7) days prior to the first day of class, students may:

1. Reschedule to a different class date (one time only) up to three months of the original class date and pay a $25.00 administrative fee

Any student who does not attend their scheduled class or arrives after the class begins without prior communication will forfeit their class fees.
